learning two languages at once?
I am currently teaching myself Portuguese. I already speak Spanish at an advanced level (and English, obviously). I also would like to Learn French and I already have some materials (dictionaries, audio course and workbooks).
Is it okay to try to learn Portuguese and French at the same time? Or should I go for a non-Latin based language first and come back to French later?
Also, can anyone recommend the best resources for learning a language quickly? I already have some tools but would like additional imput.
I found it hard to study languages that were close together when I was learning them...years later, I really confuse vocabulary words now. But you might be better able to balance the two.
The best way I know to study a language quickly is immersion - -being surrounded by it and having to use it.
