How far is the paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport from downtown Paris?
Thank you for the responses so far. Well I une time 4 is still there on Saturday if I planned to quickly check out downtown. But if it takes an hour each way, there probably is not enough time.
Not a good idea to go downtown if you have 4 hours. In the absence of traffic in a taxi, it takes 45 minutes or an hour. By train it is substantially the same. If you add the time it takes to get off the plane to a taxi or train, time to go through security the way back, and a cushion in case there is traffic, a train strike, or whatever, there will be no time to enjoy Paris. It is a shame, because the airport is nothing special. There is a duty few shops and some restaurants not very impressive.
